Having a successful reserve setup is critical to the growth and sustainability of Guelph United F.C. as a club.
In 2024, Guelph United will be fielding 3 reserve teams:
GUFC L2 Men - part of third-tier League2 Ontario
GUFC L2 Women - part of third-tier League2 Ontario
GUFC U20 Men - part of the U20 Reserves League, Southwest Division
League 1 Ontario (L1O) is a high-performance standards-based senior soccer league.
The L1O Reserve League has been sanctioned by Ontario Soccer and is recognized as an important step on the established talented player pathway, providing an integral bridge between the highest level of youth soccer competition in Ontario (OPDL) and the highest level of senior soccer competition in Ontario (L1O).
We are extremely excited and proud to bring to Guelph and the surrounding area the highest level of play for boys and girls at the U21 level.
Players on the reserve team may/will have the opportunity to participate in our first team games, practice with our top team and learn and develop each day with our outstanding League 1 reserve coaches.
