Ontario Premier League (OPL)

A high-performance, standards-based senior soccer league.

The OPL Reserve League (OPL 3) has been sanctioned by Ontario Soccer and is recognized as an important step on the established talented player pathway, providing an integral bridge between the highest level of youth soccer in Ontario (OPDL) and the highest level of senior semi-pro soccer in Ontario (OPL 1).

We are extremely excited and proud to bring the highest level of play for boys and girls to Guelph and the surrounding area at the U20 and U21 levels. Reserve team players may have the opportunity to participate in first-team games, practice with our top team, and learn and develop each day with our outstanding OPL reserve coaches.

A successful reserve setup is critical to Guelph United F.C.'s growth and sustainability. For 2027, Guelph United will be fielding 4 reserve teams in the Ontario Premier League (OPL):

• GUFC Reserves Men OPL3

• GUFC Reserves Women OPL 3

• GUFC U20 Men, Southwest Division

• GUFC U20 Women, Southwest Division Soccer)
