Our Story
Established in 2020 by Keith Mason, Benny Mezezi, and Ami Mezezi, Guelph United F.C. is a soccer club operating in League 1 Ontario, the province’s Men’s Premiere Division.
With the help and experience of our local partners, Guelph Jr. Gryphons, the University of Guelph, and the City of Guelph, we founded our team with a goal to bring semi-professional soccer to our community. Together with our partners “We Are United” in bringing a club that inspires the youth of today to become the stars of tomorrow.
Our Vision
Currently, talented soccer players from Guelph and surrounding areas do not have a professional environment to compete within. With our world-class facilities and qualified staff, Guelph United F.C. has the ambition to establish the City of Guelph as a national center of excellence, where local talent have access to all the necessary infrastructure to compete at the highest levels.
In addition, we have a vibrant soccer community and fan base including players, parents, our vital local businesses and sponsors who support us in our vision. Our goal is to create a professional, inclusive, and inspiring atmosphere that every fan can experience.
