Camilo Vasconcelos signs short term deal with CPL’s York United

Guelph United’s wonderkid Camilo Vasconcelos has signed a short term development deal with Canadian Premier League side York United. He will be available for selection for York’s game against Atletico Ottawa, tonight at 7.30 PM.

Vasconcelos remains a Guelph player, and will return to our team following York’s match. The CPL club will retain the right to select him for games throughout the season.

York United has made a habit of giving professional opportunities to young players in the region. Vasconcelos will have the chance to make his professional debut tonight, in a game that can be watched on OneSoccer and FuboTV.

The 18 year old Vasconcelos has had a solid start to his career for Guelph United. He played 10 games for the senior squad in 2022, and won U21 Player of the Year. This season, he has featured in 5 games, scoring 2 goals.
