Olivia Brown and Jack Sears, 2025 Supporters MVP winners

Last week, Guelph United hosted its annual season-end Gala and Awards, at the Cutten Fields in Guelph.

It was an evening that marked the end of a year with mixed results - in which our women’s team ended in an all-time high 4th place in L1O’s Premier Division, while the men failed to achieve promotion from the Championship Division. But it was also a year with plenty to celebrate. Olivia Brown set new GUFC goalscoring records, and was a League MVP Finalist, after her 20 goals in 20 games. Both her and Olivia Rizakos were First Team All Stars. On the men’s side, Gray Yates won L1O Championship Midfielder of the Year, Anthony Ostrun won Young (U20) Player of the Year, while Chris Qushair was awarded League2 Midfielder of the Year.

Guelph United’s own award winners were chosen in 2 different ways: fans were able to vote for the Supporters Players of the Year, while the rest of the awards were determined by GUFC players, coaches and staff.

Here are the awards winners for our 2025 season, as well as photos from the event.

Thank you to all the fans who joined us this year, and we’ll see you all in 2026.
