Guelph United signs Dutch goalkeeper Floor Ursem

Guelph United is thrilled to announce we have signed Dutch goalkeeper Floor Ursem for the 2026 season.

Floor, 19, was born in Uitgeest, Netherlands, and has spent her junior years playing for the U21 squad of Dutch top division club VVK Telstar.

She moved to Canada last summer for university, and immediately became one of the best keepers in U Sports, playing for Kamloops-based Thompson Rivers WolfPack. In her first season, she started 13 games, recorded 4 clean sheets, and ended up in the U Sports All-Rookie team, as the best first-year goalkeeper in the country.

Floor is the second goalkeeper signed for our 2026 women’s season, after Jo Mazier, and is also the second Dutch player we have on our roster, after we announced the signing of defender Anke Wijnbergen.

GUFC Women kicks off the new season on April 18th, with an away match at Waterloo United. You can check out the full schedule here.
