Here are Guelph United’s rosters to begin the 2025 season
After a couple of L1 Cup games last week, it’s time for the league season to begin. With both our senior teams playing tomorrow, and the first of our reserve teams kicking off the very next day, here is how our rosters look as we head into the 2025 season.
He’s back! Amardo Oakley returns to Guelph United
Our long-term captain and first half-Centurion is back to Guelph United for 2025! We’re thrilled to announce we signed full-back Amardo Oakley for the new season.
GUFC signs Tinmouth and Sargsyan; promotes Findlay and Borges
With two days left until the start of our men’s 2025 season, we’re happy to announce two new signings, forwards Ambrose Tinmouth and Vahan Sargsyan, and two promotions from our Reserve squad, keeper Jake Findlay and forward Aiden Borges.
Midfielder Josie Morgan returns to Guelph for 2025 season
Guelph United is thrilled to announce the signing of Canadian midfielder Josie Morgan for the 2025 season. Josie has previously played with Guelph Union in 2022.

Guelph United has signed Swiss youth international keeper Leana Claude for the 2025 season. Claude has played professionally for Young Boys Frauen in her home country, and is currently a U Sports All Star.
Guelph United signs Irish goalkeeper Jack Harrington
GUFC has signed Irish keeper Jack Harrington for the 2025 season. Currently enrolled for Cape Breton University, Harrington last played for Amardo Oakley’s Irish First Division team Athlone Town.
NCAA star Emma Warren signs with Guelph United
Guelph United is happy to announce the signing of Canadian wing-back Emma Warren for the 2025 season. Emma spent the last 2 years playing for the Vermont Catamounts in US college soccer, and for North Toronto Nitros in L1O.
Guelph United announces first signings for 2025 women’s team
Guelph United re-signed the first three players for the 2025 women’s season: defender Alanna Starcevic, and midfielders Kate Knafelc and Violet Hipkin.
