GUFC signs Halifax Wanderers prospect Ben Hashimoto
Guelph United is happy to announce the signing of Canadian forward Ben Hashimoto for the 2026 season.
Ben was born in Charlottetown, PE, and is regarded as one of the top prospects in the Maritimes.
He is 3 years into his U Sports career, playing for the Dalhousie Tigers. He appeared in 35 games, scoring 9 goals, and being selected as an AUS Second Team All Star this year.
For the last 2 seasons, he also played for the Halifax Wanderers U23 team, and made the Northern Tribune list of 20 top prospects for the 2026 Canadian Premier League draft.
Ben also has some international experience, playing in 2025 for Fareham Town F.C. U23 in England.
