Marcel Zajac returns to Guelph United!
A familiar face is back in Guelph United colours. We’re excited to announce we have signed Marcel Zajac for the 2026 season!
Zajac, 27, is known to GUFC fans from the 2022 season, when he played in 16 matches for our team, scoring 6 goals. One of those matches was our memorable Canadian Championship appearance, against Halifax Wanderers.
Before his Guelph United stint, Marcel has played professionally for 2 seasons in the Canadian Premier League, appearing in 25 games for Forge FC, before heading to Europe for a season in the Polish lower tiers.
After his year in Guelph, Marcel has also played in League1 Ontario for Vaughan Azzurri.
