After an incredible performance, Guelph United’s women’s team obtained one of the best wins of its history, on Sunday, defeating OPL1 leaders NDC Ontario at the Centennial Bowl.

It’s time for the first confirmed player for our 2026 women’s team. We’re happy to reveal midfielder Violet Hipkin will be back with GUFC for another year!

Guelph United re-signed the first three players for the 2025 women’s season: defender Alanna Starcevic, and midfielders Kate Knafelc and Violet Hipkin.

The roster of our women’s team is slowly but surely taking shape, ahead of the 2024 season. Today, we can reveal we have signed former Darby FC midfielder Violet Hipkin, and re-signed midfielder Kate Knafelc.
