Sealy and VanderHoef re-sign for 2024 season
The roster for our GUFC women’s team is starting to take shape. Today, we are happy to announce we re-signed another 2 players for the new season: Jyanessa Sealy and Sydney VanderHoef.
GUFC Women signs Caitlin Crichton and Breanne Carreiro from Electric City FC
Midfielder Caitlin Crichton and goalkeeper Breanne Carreiro will join Guelph United Women, after Electric City folded following the 2023 season.
Amardo Oakley signs with Irish club Athlone Town: “Guelph United will always have a special place in my heart“
Our captain, and staple of the defense since our inaugural season in 2021, Amardo Oakley, is continuing his career in Europe. “Oaks” has signed with Irish First Division club Athlone Town AFC.
GUFC Women re-signs Hinchliffe, Ladhani and Rizakos
GUFC is happy to welcome back another three names from our 2023 women’s roster for the new season. Victoria Hinchliffe, Tessa Ladhani and Olivia Rizakos have all signed new deals to return for 2024.

Zach Ellis-Hayden retires from football: “I feel like I am part of the Guelph United family“
One of the most important players of the 2023 Guelph United team, defender Zach Ellis-Hayden, has decided to hang up his boots. He arrived in Guelph after a successful career in which he amassed more than 100 professional appearances in the USL, and 6 international caps for Barbados. He appeared in 15 matches for GUFC in 2023.

League1 Ontario recently announced the finalists for its year-end awards, and Guelph United has 2 players on the lists from which the Player of the Year winners will be decided: Carter Robart and Amardo Oakley.
GUFC year-end Banquet and Awards, set for November 17th at the Cutten Fields
Guelph United will celebrate a successful 2023 season on November 17th, with a banquet in which we will also present our annual awards to our best players. Fans can now purchase tickets to the event.
Guelph United partners with Fleetwood Town for youth talent camp in England
Guelph United FC is announcing a Talent Identification program, in partnership with English League One side Fleetwood Town FC, that will see at least one under-21 Canadian player be invited to an extensive, all expenses paid, training camp at the Fleetwood Town International Academy, in England.
