GUFC signs U Sports standout Grace Hannaford
Guelph United is happy to announce we have signed Canadian midfielder Grace Hannaford for the 2026 season.
Grace was born in Enfield, NS, and has spent the last 4 U Sports seasons playing for the Cape Breton Capers, and putting up amazing offensive numbers for a central midfielder: 48 games, 23 goals, 24 assists. She was named an AUS 1st team all-star in 2022 and 2023, and made the U Sports All-Canadian 2nd Team in 2023, before earning an U Sports All-Canadian First Team spot in 2025. She also represented Nova Scotia in the 2022 Canada Games, playing 12 matches and scoring 6 goals.
Outside of the university campaigns, Grace has spent the last 2 seasons playing for Calgary Foothills, in League1 AB, appearing in 25 games and scoring 6 goals.
