Keepers secured: GUFC brings back Jack Harrington; signs Liam Glas
Guelph United is in good hands. We’re happy to announce we have re-signed Irish keeper Jack Harrington for the 2026 season; we have also signed keeper Liam Glas.
Harrington, 22, was born in Dunshaughlin, Ireland, and signed with our club last year. In 2025, he played in 13 matches for Guelph United, allowing only 18 goals, for one of the better goals-against averages in the league. In U Sports, Jack plays in Nova Scotia, for the Cape Breton Capers.
Before moving to Canada, Harrington played for the U19 teams of Dundalk and Shelbourne, and then professionally for First Division teams Longford Town and Athlone Town.
Liam Glas hails from Toronto, and has spent the last 2 league seasons playing for the reserve and U20 teams of Alliance United. In U Sports, he is a first-year player for the Guelph Gryphons.
