2024 schedule revealed: 6 double-headers at the Bowl

League1 Ontario has announced the schedule for the 2024 season, featuring a revamped format with three tiers, promotion/relegation, and a Cup competition for all teams.

As revealed earlier this week, Guelph United, which is part of the top-tier Premier Division for both our men’s and women’s teams, will make their new season debut on April 26th, when our women’s team travels to Vaughan, to face NDC Ontario. The men will travel to Hamilton the next day, to face Forge FC affiliate club Hamilton United, at Tim Hortons Field.

The main highlight of the schedule is that the Centennial Bowl will be hosting 6 double-headers, so our fans who want to watch both teams, can do so with just one game ticket.

The Centennial Bowl home openers will happen on May 20th, for the men’s team, and May 26th, for the women’s. Before then, however, GUFC will host one match at the home of our new partners from Oriental Sport Club, in Cambridge, ON. Guelph United season ticket holders will have access to a free shuttle bus to and from the venue - details to follow later.

Season tickets offer nearly 60% in savings

Season tickets are the best way to see Guelph United, even if you will be missing multiple home matches. For $65 (or $30 for kids and seniors), you will get access to all 19 matches hosted at the Centennial Bowl (10 for men and 9 for women), plus a free shuttle to attend our home match in Cambridge, plus the two confirmed home matches (1 for men, 1 for women) in the L1 Cup. Including the six double-headers, we will be hosting 16 ticketed events (15 at the Bowl, 1 in Cambridge). This means a season ticket ends up costing you just about $4 / event - that’s nearly 60% in savings, compared to single tickets. For beer drinkers, there’s also a deal to be had with our Wellington Pack. Get yours now!
